Property Value acc. to Art. 229 (1) CRR (Webinar)
The amendments to Capital Requirements Regulations (CRR III) also entail significant changes for property valuation. The right to choose between Market Value and Mortgage Lending Value (MLV) for the purposes of preferential equity capital treatment will be replaced by the ‘property value’, which must be applied to new business from 1 January 2025. The portfolio must be adjusted by the end of 2027.
